Our wedding anniversary (9 years!) was yesterday, but we're 'celebrating' tonight - at our favorite restaurant, Jake's Del Mar. Is that (top, left) a bar with a view, or what?! And then there's the warm, inviting, tasteful interior (top, right). But we're hoping for a table at the window (above, left). What do you think?
Their food is certifiably addicting - and their service is oh-so-caring. Just look at their famous HULA PIE (below, right) ... it's heavenly, decadent, over-the-top wonderful. Oooh, I can't wait!
We get to share our evening with a good friend, John, who is in town from his other home - Paris. This is going to be FUN, FUN, FUN.
