Well, we ALMOST got to welcome Fall with the first "storm" - but we got just barely 1/10 of an inch of rain, so that probably doesn't count. But the chilly weather in the mountains east of Alpine yesterday WERE a lot of fun, nonetheless.
ROCKY got to finally meet Coral, the Rat Terrier that inspired Mark and I to get a rattie in the first place. They fell head-over-heels in love yesterday, and our little guy slept like a champ last night! Hopefully, Coral will be visiting us here today for more fun & games, and I'll be able to get photos of them togethere to post.
Meanwhile, I'm cooking up a skillet full of Chicken Cassoulet today, and some home-made Gingerbread for dessert - yum - for our friends Tom & Molly (Coral's "parents"). Firewood coming, good food, and we'll keep praying for ... COOLER weather!
