Friends: Just rec'd a cool e-mail from a local store that I just adore shopping at ... Sur la Table ... they're offering some wonderful-sounding Regional Italian Cooking Classes this Fall -- on offer: Emilia-Romagna; Sicilia; Toscana; and Liguria. They all sound magnificent ... but ...

Oh my goodness, some BAKING Classes are on offer, too !!!

It was the BAKING CLASSES that caught my attention -- Cakes; Cookies; Tarts; Quick Breads; Pies-Turnovers-Dumplings; and the FUNNEST SOUNDING CLASS OF ALL: Baking Boot Camp Class, with Cindy Mushet - the author of their newest book, The Art and Soul of Baking.
