We Must Know Both our Possibilities & Our Limitations

"It's not our disadvantages or shortcomings that are ridiculous, but rather the studious way we try to hide them, and our desire to act as if they did not exist."

-- Giacomo Leopardi

Call me blessed, I guess, 'cause I have a spouse who is deliberate, persistent, and regular about pointing out to me just what my 'disadvantages & shortcomings' are ...

No matter how studious I get, trying to hide from who and what I am, have no fear. There's always my husband to bring me back to front and center, with no holds barred.

That's all well and good and I admire your attitude, as long as he balances it with telling you how gifted you are in so many areas and what a beautiful soul you have!!!!! If memory serves me correctly it takes 25 positives to counterbalance 1 negative.
Please know I'm sending 100 positives!

of course, that post was done entirely tongue in cheek; you know that. in my lifetime, i've never got 25 positives to counterbalance a negative - at least, not from the one issuing the negatives. BUT if you take the POSITIVES that i have received, and continue to receive, from loving friends & relatives ... then YES, it might be what keeps me (relatively) sane. THANKS, ANN. I always love and appreciate your comments.

It sure is nice to know that I'm not the only one that's imperfect. As I think about it, I think I have more imperfects than you. God does have mercy on us, huh? Praise God for that. He is the one who judges.
Love you my perfect sister, Francia
