GETTIN' ARTSY for the WEEKEND

What are YOU going to create this weekend? It's feeling like FALL outside, our weather is cooling down (okay, so it's only by a few degrees, but it all helps!) and the weekend is meant for ... projects. Right?
If you're fresh out of ideas, or want a NEW idea to inspire you, head to the nearest bookstore and look for any / all of the SOMERSET publications (in the magazine section). I always, always, always find amazing things to take my breath away in the pages of Somerset ... it's pure creative eye-candy, I swear.
Head over to Michael's Arts & Crafts store, or to Target ... any place that has art supplies of any & all kinds ... rubber stamping, scrapbooking, painting, decopage (when was the last time you riffled thru old magazines, tearing out images of things you just LOVED, so you could throw a collage together?), beading, silk flowers for arranging, whatever might appeal to you. Pick up a new project; replenish supplies for a tried-and-true craft; whatever it is, GET OUT THERE, get something new & shiny, and GET TO CREATING. Something. Anything. Heck, create your own blogspot, even!
If you need ideas, STEP OUTSIDE and let nature provoke thoughts of what to create next:
"Nothing can cure the soul but the senses, just as nothing can cure the senses but the soul." -- Oscar Wilde
Just - do something. Surprise me!
